The Berkshire Innovation Center
Berkshire Innovation Center
SBA is currently designing a new building that will bring together resources including ISO7 cleanrooms, core R&D equipment labs, Biotech R&D labs, and networking and meeting spaces to accelerate innovation among industry and academic partners in the Berkshires.
Partially funded by a Mass Life Science Center grant, the creation of the facility will incorporate training facilities for manufacturing and research and serve as a key resource for the commercialization of ideas. The Innovation Center is located on a gateway site within the William Stanley Business Park, marking the continued reinvestment and rejuvenation of the former home of General Electric and the first step in rekindling the high-tech economy in the region.
